The storm that rages on Menorca has forced the organization to suspend the last two days of the race, at the request of the General Directorate of Emergencies of the Balearic Islands.
Ciutadella, Menorca (11/06/2021). – The Epic Camí de Cavalls 360º 2021 has ended early. The organization has been forced to suspend the last two stages of the race due to bad weather. A strong tramontana storm is raging these days over Menorca, with high intensity winds and episodes of rain, and the General Directorate of Emergencies of the Balearic Islands has requested the suspension in view of the meteorological circumstances.

In response to the requirement of the General Directorate of Emergencies of the Balearic Islands to suspend the stages of Saturday and Sunday in view of the expected meteorological circumstances.
In view of all this, it would be reckless and irresponsible to carry out the planned stages. Therefore, we are forced to suspend the second and third stages of the Epic Camí de Cavalls 360º 2021.
After the cancellation at the last minute of the last edition, neither the participants nor the organization deserve to have to live a situation like this.
In spite of everything, let’s all make an effort to turn this negative situation into something positive. Extreme weather circumstances are part of our sport, and sometimes we have no choice but to assume it. Today and tomorrow we cannot go out and do what we like the most, but the Epic Camí de Cavalls 360º does not end here.
We wait for all the participants tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Gran Sagitario hotel to enjoy some time together and the provisioning at the end of the stage that we had planned. Together we will turn this complicated situation into a celebration of one of our main values: coexistence between participants, and between participants and the organization.
We hope you understand this decision, and we sincerely regret the displeasure that this implies for everyone.
Closing ceremony
The suspension of stages 2 and 3 of the race will award the victory of the seventh 2021 edition of the Epic Camí de Cavalls 360º to the winners of the first stage. The awards ceremony will take place tomorrow, Sunday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gran Sagitario hotel (Santandria).
